What is VIN Story?
VIN Story lets owners submit real ownership stories tied to a VIN, and lets buyers search that VIN before buying a vehicle.
What do I get for $5?
A $5 unlock gives you 30-day access to the full owner stories available for that VIN.
How long does access last?
Full report access lasts 30 days from the time of purchase. After it expires, the full report locks again.
Are stories verified?
Stories are user-submitted. VIN Story does not guarantee that every story is complete, verified, or accurate. You should still inspect the vehicle before buying.
Can I report a story?
Yes. Paid report viewers can tap Report This Story. Reports go to admin review and may result in the story being reviewed, edited, or removed.
Can I edit my story?
Yes. Login, go to My Stories, choose your story, and use Edit / Review Story.
Can I delete my story?
Yes. Login, go to My Stories, open the story, and delete it. A delete reason is required and an admin audit record is kept.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests should be sent to support. Refund approval may depend on the payment issue, access issue, duplicate payment, or other circumstances.
I paid but the report is still locked. What should I do?
Contact support with your account email, the VIN, and payment date so the payment can be checked.
